I've always been a loyal Caterpillar boot guy and many of them lasted years. My biggest problem is that I wear out the toe of the boot pretty quickly and the last pair of Caterpillars that I had the soles wore out way too fast. A few people at work have Keen's and spoke highly of them. I landscape in the summer and work at a ski area in the winter so fining a boot that I can wear year round can be quite tricky.Pros:-They are extremely comfortable right out of the box. It's like they are already broken in. No double socks, no rubbing.-Excellent shock absorption, my knees usually hurt after a 12 hour day, so far so good here.-Great traction in snow, inside, wet areas and pavement-The soles don't freeze. After being outside for an hour in -10 degrees weather my Caterpillars would freeze and become really slick.-They are very warm for not being insulated.-Fit extremely well, I wear an 11 wide and they fit great.-Thick soles, I don't think I will wear through them anytime soon.-Excellent durability, feel and quality!Cons-I wish the laces were just a tad longer. It is only an issue when tying them with winter gloves on.Overall these boots are the best I have had right from the get go. They feel great and so far have performed in every situation I have been in. I will update my review after a few months of use.
