I couldn't find my keen boots that I've had for the last 3 years so I was hesitant to go with a different model boot . But I'm happy with them. Probably gonna order 3 more pairs so I can have the same boot for the next few yearsThe laces that come with these boot are complete garbage. Replaced them with good laces. Other than that these are a good work boot. These were great looking boots but my feet were getting sores on them in a few days and i didnt truely want a high top boot so i went with something else instead but i did stay with keen. They make fantastic boots and i love my new pair!Great arch support. If you need a vault on your feet, this is as close to it as I have found. I am confident that my feet are as protected as is practically possible. Between the sole, the leather, the steel toe, and the bumper, plus the general thickness of the boot walls, I am absolutely satisfied on that score. On the down side, these will need, I can only guess, a fairly extensive and difficult breaking in period. To that end, I am trying to wear these often. Currently I don't have great need for the protection. Still, I am trying to break these in before I do. And that will be a heck of a chore. These remind me of the stiffer hiking books I used to wear.To my mind, these are worth the effort. So I will do it. But if I didn't believe, or need, I wouldn't. I have never trusted boots which were comfortable from the start. Either they wear quickly, or don't actually protect, from my experience. These... as mentioned... are foot vaults. If you want to have whole feet for a lifetime, and work in dangerous situations, these will do you well.I've bought this boot 3-4 times, I really like the boot. First set lasted 4 years (bought from store), 2,3 and 4 have been amazon and have had issues. All pairs i have bought from amazon have leaking probloms soon into getting them. And most recent set had a wrong shoelace ring, should have been a hook. (I took a pic) minor but annoying everyday lacing up the boots. Other than that, they are a good boot. I don't know why they are consistently going up in price? My first ones I think were 112$ now they're almost 200$? Fricken covid right.........cmon!Update 6/17/15 - Okay - in a better place now and have upgraded my review to 3 stars because Keen did come through and is replacing the boots. I heard back from Keen yesterday and they provided me with a coupon for a new pair of boots and the person that reached out to me was very helpful. Glad to see that Keen stood behind their product.Update 6/9/15 - I finally called customer services and they told me that I should just work the claim through Amazon as it would be faster than waiting on them. I indicated I didn't see how this was Amazon's fault because of a material defect in the boot and they said it didn't really matter it would still be quicker just to work it through Amazon. The person on the phone at Keen was pretty much as unhelpful as she could possibly be. She said that they would put my warranty claim on hold until I reached out to Amazon which I told them I wasn't going to do and she then reiterated well we'd suggest you work this through Amazon.Update 6/7/15 - well several weeks in of periodically wearing these boots and I still can't get the darn things broken in. Maybe I just got a lemon. I think I found the culprit though - unlike several of my other pair of boots these have a stitch seam right in the center of the back of your heal and I think that the stitching is what is digging into my foot. I'm going to give them another week or two and if not broken in they are probably headed to the trash can. At this point they look pretty messy just from mud around the house so I would feel bad sending them back. Oh, and in regards to the warranty claim for the bad stitching on the tongue, we are now 3 weeks in and not a single word from Keen. On their website it is still saying in process. Due to the lack of responsiveness and issues with the boot I'm going from my generous 2 stars down to 1. Will reassess if/when I hear back.Based on the previous reviews I really wanted to like these boots but so far I have not been impressed. On the second day of wearing the boots the tongue stitching has started to separate resulting in about a 1.5 in gap between the leather and the waterproof backing I was able to re-stitch it until I could work the warranty claim through Keen but not something to expect to do on a pair of new boots. I submitted the warranty claim to Keen one week ago as of the date of this review and I've yet to hear anything back which doesn't bode well for this customer service experience. With all that said, my biggest gripe is actually the long break in period. I've owned many Red Wings, Wolverines, Chippewas, Danners, etc. and so far the break in on these has been the longest and most painful. The first day I wore them for about 2 hours to hang tree stands and didn't take any other boots with me - huge mistake. By the end of the two hours I could barely walk and actually debated going barefoot - no joke. Had a bad blister from that experience and couldn't wear them for about 3 days. The next several times I wore them was just to walk the dog for about 15-20min at a time which has actually helped. I'm about 2.5 weeks in and they are now actually wearable. I push mow my yard which takes about an hour and made it through that today with no real problem. Also, it isn't like I was wearing bad socks - I only wear Darn Tough socks with my boots which are some of the best socks out there in my opinion. The boots do have some redeeming factors assuming I may have gotten a dud on the stitching. They are light weight which will be nice once they are fully broken in. The tread is pretty aggressive and seems to do fine on wet grass and mud which is nice. The leather seems to be of good quality and is actually pretty soft which should have resulted in a quicker break in but for some reason didn't. Appearance is good.Product was delivered on time. Fits goodI can't say enough about how happy I am that I purchased these bootsI have very large wide feet (SIZE 15W US )I can comfortably wear thick wool socks with these boots..I purchased arch supports..I could probably wear these for days and days (if I had to ) without any discomfort...I feel feel very solid and strong while wearing them...The biggest surprise of all is how amazing these boots are in winter! I am completely sure footed in the icy streets of downtown Toronto.I never slipped once.Remarkable!!!Thank youClearly knock off. I had these same boots from the store and they were the best work boots I've had. The ones i bought here didn't fit nearly as well, thinner and looser and less padding, even though they were supposedly the exact same boots. Keen are made in USA, these are made in China. I don't have a problem with made in China, but these boots simply didn't match up.These boots are very comfortable. Took very little time to break them in. I work in the oil and gas industry, on an oilwell drilling rig. Time will tell how they stand up to the work environment. So far, they've been great. Very happy with the purchase, would buy againThese are the best boots I have ever owned. I am on my 5th pair. They fit is comfortable and they last. The photos show my two year old pair & my newer pair with about a month of use. Even with two years on them the older one have no holes and some tread left. I’ll use them for really filthy stuff so the newer one last longer & look better. I can’t recommend these boots enough. I live in Australia and have to pay more to buy them, and have them shipped here. I’ll keep buying them as long as they make them.
