Milwaukee makes a bunch of hole saws from individual bits to large sets, and like most Milwaukee tools, you'll find a lot to like about this hole saw set. This specific set sits in about the middle of the range, providing most of the common sizes most of us need with "good enough" quality and at a fair price. The saws themselves are above average in quality, but not necessarily the absolute best. I've been installing a bunch of new doors and using these to drill out the holes for the locksets...after about ten cuts through a maple hardwood, I can definitely notice the bit I've been using getting a little dull. It's still got lots of life left, but it's certainly not going to last forever. Otherwise, the cuts are coming out clean and smooth without burning or chipping the wood, so I'm happy with the result.I'd say these are more than adequate for most homeowners or for occasional professional use - only time I'd recommend something better would be if you use them on a daily basis, as they just aren't all that rugged. The case is well made and handy, making it easy to find the size you want without a lot of hunting through the tool drawer.Otherwise, this is a convenient set with a good balance of quality, convenience and price. I'd have no trouble recommending this set if it contains the sizes you need and you aren't planning on using them constantly.
