Exactly as describedThis is a nice, high quality product. I don't know if all parts are MADE IN THE USA, but the quality sure looks like it is.First off, the case. It is strong built to support the weight of both drivers. You think this is a dumb observation? Just look at the MADE IN CHINA products and check their casing. You can even tell by just looking at the coloring for crying out loud. This case, however, is strong with a nice crimson red color, not a faded red which I've seen in many a product I've bought over the years.Second, each item (Drill/Driver, Compact Impact Driver, and Battery Base) has its instruction manual in English, Spanish, and French. The folks over at Milwaukee Tool had the class to place Spanish on its outter casing markings second. This is a common sense touch, as a vast many more people speak Spanish than they do French. I have nothing against the French, it's just a matter of fact.Just when you open the box where the product ships in, you'll see it for yourself. I thought long and hard before buying this product, as the cheapest was not the price I got it at, but the cheapest also had a high S&H charge, which I though needless to pay, as I have a prime membership at Amazon.com I wanted to take advantage of. I'm already NOT regreting it. This is true quality. Milwaukee really stands out with the best; that is, Hilti, watch out!The drills look small, but feel really heavy, which most likely give the torque advertised amply in Amazon.com and the manufacturer's site as well.I hope to be writing a review after using them, as I have several more products to review, and it's 20:29 hrs of Dec 4, 2010. I won't be going out in the cold to try them out just yet.Oh, before I forget, I did get a chance to try out the light on the Compact Impact Driver. It's a white light and it encompasses a large radius, much larger and clearer than the blue dot the Black and Decker LI4000 drill features. I know, because I happen to have the LI4000 B&D driver, which I also got at Amazon.com Good drills. Small m18 (1.5ah) batteries.I LIKE this product. long battery life quality built.i bought my husband the Milwaukee drill n impact combo for his birthday after a mth the screw gun quit working and 5 mths later the impact quit working! when i contacted Milwaukee they stated any Milwaukee product bought from Amazon does not qualify under their 5 yr warranty... 5 mths later $200 down the drain just wanted to let others know so that they dont run into the same problemProduct came quicker than expected. Very fast service and product was just as advertised. Would recommend this vender to anyone.I've loved this brand from afar for years, experienced through the use of various coworkers' drivers. In 2018 I was given a used milwaukee headlamp. Headlamps are another item for which I've had the opportunity to put many brands to the test, and this one surpassed them all so I was convinced. So last year I got this set for work. I've used the driver heavily but rarely the drill, so the battery/tool combos were easy to keep track of. The driver and its battery have seen me through large jobs where they were put to industrial use for hours at a time while the drill and it's battery were sitting at home in the air conditioning.Due to circumstances caused by the current business climate I'm now doing building projects on a farm. The drill is now more useful so I've begun putting a few miles on that battery as well. I got half into my 6th day of working with the drill and poof! the battery was gone. Pressing the button shows a single red flashing light and additional chargings don't give it the juice to drill a single hole into hardwood.A couple of months ago the battery on my headlamp went, unsurprisingly given how many hours I had worked with it - and I had gotten it used. I called customer service and I got a human right away who was refreshingly helpful so I'm back to lighting up a dark shed like its day time with that headlamp sporting a cracking new battery. Then this drill battery went, and I was thinking it would be fine as before. But milwaukee customer service is telling me that they don't honor any warranty from Amazon nor eBay and that to replace the battery I would have to buy one. That's $70 I haven't got right now.It pains me to give anything but 5 stars to a brand I've had a crush on for so long, but if there is a way to activate the 5 year warranty and get a replacement battery which hopefully will perform like my driver battery, I'm not seeing it in the android app.I'm hoping that maybe someone with the brands who reads this will help direct me to the right resource to get the warranty fulfilled for this battery. If so I will be updating this review to 5 stars and possibly passing along pertinent information. This drill isn’t cheap for a reason. It’s the best. I used to have to drill pilot holes and change batteries all the time. Not with this.light and well made, their attractive red colour is much nicer than those Dewalts. great line of tools- so many you will say- "what the hell is that thing for?" my most recent was using a Milwaukee concrete saw with 14" diamond blade, cut 50 feet of relief cuts in a sidewalk in 20 minutes. beautiful and straight. man i want to marry that saw. This was a great package deal but right from the start, we couldn't get the batteries to charge. Had to return the entire kit as we couldn't get just the batteries replaced, which was disappointing. Not sure if this is a common problem or not but word to the wise is to check and see if the batteries charge as soon as you get your kit especially if you are giving it as a gift.As far as the drill and driver are concerned they seem to be well built as you would expect from Milwaukee, nice, compact and powerful. The product is misrepresented on Amazon though. As shown with the durable case for transporting, this is not what you get! you will receive a useless canvas bag that does not protect the contents. Also for people living in smaller communities that do not have home delivery this product does not ship to a Post Office box and yet they use the Postal service as a means of getting you your item, go figure?I have had these for a few years now and they have been the best set of drills I have owned. I am a general home owner but you could say I use them daily. I like their lightweight yet hardy construction. I wish other Milwaukee products were as good of value $ for what you get. Batteries last long but not in the cold ( all lithium batteries die quick in the cold).Even several years later, these tools are amazing, the batteries still hold a charge for many months if you don't use it, and the best part is that the power is 100% until the end, when the battery is really empty, then the tool just stops! I got the drill stuck once because of it, but I just switched the battery and started again, and it was like nothing happened :-) best drill and power driver I've ever owned. Never going back to a different brand for power tools :-)
