My husband will not wear any other work boots, Csx Railroad used to supply their workers boots but stopped a couple of years ago so I was set on the path of finding "Keen Milwaukee's" at a price that we could afford and here we are at good ole Amazon which has saved me alot of time on top of $$. Anyway my husband swears by these boots and if your on the fence just go ahead and buy them I don't think you'll be disappointed!!Keen is my new favorite work shoe. I work for a commercial Door company so I am on my feet and climbing ladders all day. I have tried multiple other brands of shoe. Over the year I developed plantar fasciitis. I suffer from it for months. Then I found Keen brand and within days it seems it cleared up and I haven't been bothered by it for 4 years now.Excelente y muy comodoMy husband loves this brand and the boots are so well made! He is on his feet all day so the arch support and cushion support make all the differenceSon exelente botas de trabajo yo particularmente trabajo con aceite y se adaptan muy bien al entornoGreat waterproof work boots and great out of the box.I’ve worn keen for a few years they are still a great boot. Comfortable right out of boxLet me preface this review by summing up the rest of the review in three words: These. Things. Rock!I purchased a size 10.5 pair of these Friday, May 8th of this year and selected Saturday delivery, for no other reason than I was excited to get them. They arrived first thing the next morning and I immediately tried them on. I made a trip to Cabela's a week before to try on several pairs of different boots and this was the pair I settled on because they were amazingly comfortable and had awesome amounts of support. They fit just as expected, both at Cabela's and in my living room.My previous pair of steel toes were 6" boots and I believe these are 8", so it took a bit if shoelace adjustment for me to find a comfort zone that allowed me to get the full range of motion in my ankle due to the higher boot height. The good thing is that the top three sets of shoelace eyelets let you almost "lock" the lace in place - meaning you could leave the laces over your foot as loose as you like, tighten the upper ankle laces as tight as you like (or vice versa and anywhere in between) and it'll stay that way! There was a small break in period due to the stiffer, taller uppers, but after about a week of constant wear, I didn't notice any discomfort. I recently sprained my ankle so the extra support is welcome at the moment. I work 6 days a week and I'm on my feet for anywhere between 8-10 hours each day and I feel like I have SO much more energy left at the end of the day with these boots than with my previous set of Timberland Pro's. To be fair to Timberland, my old pair is about one or two years old now and saw the same 6 day work weeks as these boots will. But I don't remember my Tims EVER being this cozy. I work as an industrial/mechanic/research and development tech type position and I'm always climbing, kneeling, squatting, balancing on ledges, crawling around, and even using my steel toes as hammers from time to time. These things have held up perfectly so far (it's only been two weeks). The OTHER reason I purchased this particular pair of work boots was because I was looking for an aggressive tread pattern so that I could also use them as a pair of heavy duty hiking boots. When I tried them on at Cabela's, the tread pattern appeared far beyond any of the others in off-road traction (is this a tire review or ...?) This past Memorial Day weekend (God Bless our Fallen Heroes), I took them camping/hiking for the first time. Our campsite was along a river bank, up a steep, loose dirt hill. Both descending and ascending the hill, I was BLOWN AWAY by how much grip these Keens had!! The incline was beyond 45 degrees, probably closer to 50-ish, and aside from hauling my 200 lb self up a 100% grade, it was a breeze! Even with my sprained ankle at about 80% healed, I could gingerly make it up and down the hill without a single slip. And once we made it down to the river to fill up our water bottles, I decided to try out how waterproof they are. Standing in ankle deep water, my socks were bone dry. After about 3 or 4 minutes of standing in the river, I thought I had a leak, because my feet started to cool off, but it was just temperature of the river water finally making it through the boot. Not a drop made it through!I am VERY VERY pleased with the performance of this boot. I'm not sure I could ask for a better performing boot. The reason I only gave it four stars was because of the looks. They are a bit clunky looking, even for a pair of steel-toed work boots. I'm not a huge fan of the rubber over-toe protection, but I admit this will add more shoe protection and essentially longer life to the shoes. Also, my pair had some extra glue seeping out behind said rubber over-toe, which was a bit unsightly, but again, I'd rather have a little extra glue to make sure the toe will last than have not enough glue and have them fall apart. All in all, these boots are heavenly. I'm not a trend-setter anyways, so the aesthetics of the boot don't bother me very much, especially with the performance of these things. My recommendation? BUY BUY BUY. Thanks Keen! I'll be seeing you again soon! After only 2 months these boots squeak everywhere I walk... I expected better from KEEN as this is not my first pair. Defiantly gets some attention on the job site and you can hear me coming from a mile away... not the type of customer referrals I think they are looking for! The rubber sole on the bottom of the boot seems to be pealing off in multiple small pieces through out the sole, almost like it wasn't hot enough when they molded the tread of the boot. These Keen Milwaukee boots are excellent quality! Very well made and extremely durable. They last long and take a good beating without looking it or falling apart. Best of all they come in true EE if you have wide feet. The insoles are very good as well. Comfortable even after very long days. I've had many pairs now, and will continue buying this model. Excellent! One of the lace hooks popped off. Sadly no replacement, not in stock so returning them thanks to Amazon customer service. The boot was super comfortable, just wish they held up and had a replacement for me.These boots fit like a glove. 4 years ago I found that Keen is making work boots. I am on second pair and I wear my boots 5 days a week most of day. very comfy, little heavier but hard to notice. I'll buy another pair when time comesComfort, quality and looks. Zero complaints about this boot so far. Redwings have always been the best boots in my opinion in comfort and durability. But I can say these Keens are equal if not more comfortable then redwings. Now we will just have to see if they last and don't leak.
